Hello, my name is Caroline and after many years in the public sector as police support staff with the stresses and strains work places on us all I also had to suddenly balance elder care as well. I am part of Generation X, the “Sandwich Generation” balancing elder care and child care. For several years I had wanted to study counselling and decided that as I needed more flexibility I made that break and lived in my camper van for six weeks. When I returned I was a student! It was a mix of exciting and scary being more than twenty years since the last time I studied but it has lead me to hypnotherapy which I have discovered a real passion for.
My previous work has always had the ethos of helping in it but I wanted to change the way I did this, gain recognised qualifications in what I do and work for myself. Transferable skills of common sense, being able to put people at ease and calmness have proved an asset.
I am a qualified hypnotherapist
I have personally experienced hypnotherapy and enjoyed its benefits as well as the feelings of relaxation. Now as a qualified hypnotherapist it makes me enjoy what I do even more and want to share this with others, assisting them to reach their goals, making positive change and a greater feeling of relaxation. Seeing someone achieve their goal when I have helped them work towards it is amazing. Sometimes clients do not recognise all the progress they have made and looking at a then and now is as exciting for me as it is for them.

I can use hypnotherapy in many different situations and hope to be able to help you. I believe you can change if you want to and I am ready to help you along the way as all you need is the support and need to change. If you are interested but have questions, then please just ask and I will do my best to answer those questions for you. I have quiet peaceful rooms in Locks Heath where you can have that time to yourself to calm, achieve and relax, time to invest in yourself.
I understand it is hard to make an initial phone call sometimes so if contact form, email or text is what works for you that’s fine with me.
What we talk about is confidential
I work to the National Hypnotherapy Society Code of Ethics and treat clients with dignity, equality and respect in a safe, calm and therapeutic space. What we talk about is confidential and your information is stored securely. I am fully insured, DBS checked and attend regular clinical supervision. I keep my skills updated by attending supervision, and regular professional development training and workshops. I am a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society and the Guild of Energists.
I have also completed further training in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping as I wanted to offer clients something more. EFT interests me as it is so flexible and I can teach the client so they can use this anywhere, whenever they feel the need. It can also be used on children from age 3 so is good for helping calming in young children and stress in adolescents as well as adults.
